18 CE Hours for Psychologists, MFTs, Social Workers and National Board Certified Counselors plus 18 hours of Coach Specific Training for the International Coach Federation.

The training is conducted by the College of Executive Coaching faculty (see information below).  The College of Executive Coaching is the leader in providing coach training to professionals with graduate degrees.  The College of Executive Coaching is Accredited by the International Coach Federation with twelve Ph.D. level faculty.

Overview:

Most mental health professionals possess the interpersonal skills needed to coach executives, but lack formal, advanced training in the specific executive coaching skills that are needed to be an effective executive coach.  This training details the process of executive coaching with its special concerns, ethical issues, and language plus discusses the specific theories of industrial and organizational psychology that underpin executive coaching.  Participants will learn how to help executives develop personal and leadership skills.  Participants will also become more aware of their own strengths and areas of potential development as an executive coach.

Continuing Education Approval

Psychologists, APA and MCEP:    The College of Executive Coaching is approved by the American Psychological Association to offer continuing education for psychologists in all 50 states.  The College of Executive Coaching maintains responsibility for the program.  Beginning in 2002 California State law has changed so that APA approved courses are accepted by the Mandatory Continuing Education Program for Psychologists in California.  The College of Executive Coaching is also an Approved Sponsor of Continuing Education by the Canadian Psychological Association.

MFTs and LCSWs:  The College of Executive Coaching is a National Association of Social Worker Approved Provider of Continuing Education (Provider #886383501). The College of Executive Coaching is approved to offer continuing education as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.  (Provider #PCE1780).  

Washington, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Texas:  The College of Executive Coaching courses are approved to meet the  continuing education requirements for certified MFTs, social workers and mental health counselors.

Pennsylvania:  The Social Worker Board has approved our courses on an individual basis upon application by the social worker.  We will assist you with any paperwork.

National Board of Certified Counselors:  The College of Executive Coaching is approved to offer CE hours by the NBCC.  

International Coach Federation:

bulletCollege of Executive Coaching's 128-Hour Certified Personal and Executive Coach Certification is an International Coach Federation Accredited Coach Training Program.
bulletAccreditation is awarded to programs that meet the rigorous professional standards for coach training programs established by the ICF. Graduation from an accredited program will meet the ICF's requirements for individual coach certification for student contact learning hours, mentor coaching, and passage of an ICF approved exam at the PCC level.

ICF requires all Accredited programs to state the following:   "Accreditation does not warrant or guarantee the effectiveness of the training or the student's ability to build a successful coaching practice."

Our courses are accepted for continuing education for psychologists, marriage and family therapists, social workers and certified counselors in almost all states.

If you have any questions whether these programs meet the continuing education requirements of your state's licensing law, please check with your state licensing board.

Refund/Changes and Cancellations:  There is a $35.00 processing fee, per workshop/course, for refunds or changes requests (must be in writing) received at least seven days before the course or  workshop.  After that date, there will be no refunds, however changes may be processed, if space is available and if the $35.00 processing fee is paid, up to 48 hours before the originally scheduled event.  Assessment program policies are different once you have taken any assessments - the policy will be provided upon request.  No additional refunds or changes are allowed.   If a course must be cancelled due to an unforeseen event (such as natural disaster or instructor illness), the seminar will be rescheduled.  Participants will be able to take the rescheduled workshop or another College of Executive Coaching course of the same fee.  

Note:  Full attendance is required in order to receive contact hours available.  Late arrivals and early departures prevent the awarding of continuing education credit.

No audio or video taping permitted.
