Dr. Jeffrey E. Auerbach, MCC

Dr. Jeffrey E. Auerbach, is the founder President of the College of Executive Coaching, the leader in coach training for professionals with graduate degrees.  The College of Executive Coaching is an International Coach Federation Accredited Coach Training Program with courses ongoing worldwide and is based in Pismo Beach, California.  He is the author of the best-selling book, Personal and Executive Coaching: The Complete Guide for Mental Health Professionals, the editor of Building Competence in Personal and Executive Coaching, and the research director of the 2005 State of the Coaching Industry Project.  Dr. Auerbach serves on the Global Board of Directors of the International Coach Federation, the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Coaching in Organizations, and is a Consulting Psychologist, and a ICF Credentialed Master Certified Coach.  He was was the Program Committee Co-Chair of the Tenth International Coach Federation Conference, a Steering Committee Member of the Executive Coaching Summit, President of the Board of Directors of the Association of Coach Training Organizations, Co-Chair of the American Psychological Association's Society of Consulting Psychology Leadership and Diversity Conference, and a Steering Committee Member of the American Psychological Association Healthy Workplace Awards.  Dr. Auerbach is available for keynote presentations and consultations to industry groups on the emerging field of executive coaching.  You will find many of his articles at www.executivecoachcollege.com  

Dr. Auerbach has been the Chief of a major UCLA affiliated medical department and has held numerous leadership positions in public and private sectors.  He believes in the unparalleled value of mentoring and coaching and he has always sought out the best mentors.  Dr. Auerbach believes if you want to learn something you go to the experts.  The College of Executive Coaching is committed to making expert coaching, coach training and leadership development widely available.  The College of Executive Coaching has provided training to over 3,500 professionals with graduate degrees.  

Dr. Auerbach has been fortunate to have been mentored by the following exceptionally accomplished individuals: Ernest Rossi, Ph.D., protégé of Milton Erickson, M.D., and author of over fifteen popular books; internationally recognized Terry Oleson, Ph.D., past UCLA Associate Professor and expert in personal growth; and Marielle Fuller – the esteemed “Grandmother” of guided visualization.  He has post-graduate training in Executive Coaching and Organizational Development and holds certifications in Executive Coaching, Stress Management Training and Hypnosis as well as licenses in Psychology and Marriage and Family Counseling.  An active community member, Dr. Auerbach's Board of Directors positions have included being the President of the Association of Coach Training Organizations, the Ventura County Medical Center Executive Committee, the International Coach Federation Ventura County Chapter President, Biofeedback Society of California Director, Sierra Club Los Padres Executive Committee Director and Trustee of the National Board of Directors of the Coalition on the Environment.  An accomplished international speaker and author Dr. Auerbach founded The College of Executive Coaching  to create a premier post-graduate professional coaching and leadership program.   A graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara; the California Graduate Institute and Antioch University, Dr. Jeffrey Auerbach has over twenty-five years experience assisting diverse groups of people accomplish their dreams.

Dr. Ana Maria Irueste-Montes, PCC

Ana Maria Irueste-Montes, Ph.D., is an ICF credentialed Professional Certified Coach, a  licensed psychologist and an expert on diversity issues in the corporate world.  She is also an adjunct staff member of the Center for Creative Leadership, named the best leadership training program in Business Week magazine.  Dr. Montes, received her Ph.D. from the University of Kansas, and has extensive experience utilizing assessment instruments and conducting feedback coaching in Fortune 500 companies.

Dr.  Edward H. Rockey, MPEC

Edward H. Rockey, Ph.D., is Professor of Applied Behavioral Science at the Graziado School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University and a certified executive coach.  Dr. Rockey, an internationally renowned presenter on innovation and creativity, has been teaching, training and coaching business people for over 25 years, including clients of Prudential Insurance and Lockheed Management Club.  Dr. Rockey is the author of Communicating in Organizations (Winthrop Management Series).

Dr. Andrea Molberg, MPEC

Andrea Molberg, Ph.D., is an executive coach and consulting psychologist whose individual clients include CEOs, physicians, police chiefs, lawyers, HR directors, entrepreneurs, general  managers, high potentials, and problem employees.  Practical and dynamic, she has helped people work more effectively in Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, health organizations, small businesses, non profits, governmental agencies, educational institutions, and professional associations.  Her organizational clients include the Mayo Clinic, 3M, IBM, and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.  Dr. Molberg served on the faculty of the Center for Business Excellence at the University of St. Thomas for over 30 years and taught MBA students at Pepperdine University’s School of Business, HR professionals at University of California Irvine, and executives at the Executive Development Centers of the University of Minnesota and UC Riverside. Doubly trained at the University of Minnesota in both industrial/organizational and counseling psychology, she is the author of Making Live Training Lively Andrea Molberg, Ph.D., is an executive coach and licensed psychologist. 

 Dr. Sandra Foster, MPEC, PCC

Sandra Foster, Ph.D., is an International Coach Federation credentialed Professional Certified Coach, author and performance enhancement psychologist based in San Francisco.  Her  clients are business leaders and entrepreneurs as well as musicians, actors, and spoken word artists.  Dr. Foster, with a Ph.D. from Stanford, is a past Stanford University Consulting Associate Professor, and is co-author of Three-Shot Golf for Women.  Dr. Foster has consistently received positive feedback for her clarity, breadth of knowledge, coaching experience and engaging teaching style.

Dr. Relly Nadler, MCC

Relly Nadler, Psy.D., is a psychologist, Master Certified Coach, author and trainer.  He is a principal in True North Leadership, Inc., an executive development and team development consulting firm based in Santa Barbara.  Dr. Nadler coaches presidents, senior vice-presidents and executive teams.  His past clients include EDS, Anheuser-Busch, BMW, Honda, Deloitte  and Touche Consulting and Delco Systems.  Dr. Nadler is author of Leading with Emotional Intelligence, and Processing the Experience: Strategies to Enhance and Generalize Learning.

Sylva Leduc, M.Ed., MPEC

Sylva Leduc, M.Ed., is a certified executive coach, leadership strategist and author.  Ms. Leduc's clients have included individuals from Seagate Technologies, ATT Wireless Services and Microsoft.   She was formerly a management consultant with Ernst & Young, LLP  where she specialized in change management, leadership development and coaching.   In addition to coaching, Syl was the founder of Client Compass: the custom designed software program for coaches. Client Compass became the most widely known software for coaches to manager their back office operations.  In 2005 her company was acquired by John Wiley & Sons, the international publishing house.  Syl was also the creator of the Coaches Tool Box with 101 coaching tools.  She shares some of those tools with students at the CEC.  In 2007, Syl was honored with the PRISM award from the Seattle chapter of the International Coach Federation for her coaching the leadership team of a non-profit.

Diane Foster, MA, MCC 

Diane Foster, MA, International Coach Federation Master Certified Coach, has provided coaching and consultation on leadership and change to a wide ranges of individuals and organizations for over fifteen  years. Diane serves as Director of Training for our ICF Accreditation Track.  Her many achievements have been built through her passion for supporting the alignment of individuals and teams behind organizational goals and initiatives to achieve "best fit", high performance, and their feeling of satisfaction in their work. A leader of several organizations herself, she is an advocate for emotional intelligence, dialogue, and the best of communication, role-clarification, and conflict management. Because she has worked both internally and externally in organizations, she knows how to support others in improving business processes during challenging times. Diane has completed many training programs such as:  

A Masters in Career Development from JFKU; Master Certified Coach designation, from the International Coaching Federation; Facilitation certification from Interaction Associates and Technology of Participation, Advanced Certification for working with Personality Type in Organizations and with Teams from the Center for Application of Psychological Type; Highlands Ability assessment consultant from The Highlands Program; Board Development certification from The National Center for Nonprofit Boards; and Strategic Planning Facilitation from the Institute of Cultural Affairs.  She is considered an expert in leadership competency and development, and has created the "Skill Kit for Leaders" CD to support her client's development on any one of 45 different leadership competencies.

Dr. Randall White 

Randall P. White has written a number of both popular and academic books and articles, including the recent release of his book with Phil Hodgson, Relax, It's Only Uncertainty (2001, Financial Times Pearson Education). He is an adjunct professor at the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, has an adjunct association with Duke Corporate Education, and teaches at the Johnson Graduate School, Cornell University. Randy was formerly the Director of Specialized Client Applications at the Center for Creative Leadership where he was responsible for all custom programs. He is a fellow in the American Psychological Association, a board member of Division 13 (Consulting Psychologists) of APA, and a former board member of the American Society for Training and Development. He holds an AB from Georgetown University, an MS from Virginia Polytechnic Institute, and a PhD from Cornell.

Dr. Maynard Brusman, MPEC, PCC 

Dr. Maynard Brusman is a consulting psychologist and International Coach Federation certified  coach.  He is a full professor in counseling psychology in the Northern Arizona University Statewide Education Program where he ha taught courses in self-management and career development. As an instructor in the University of California Davis Extension Human Resource Development an Management Certificate Program, he taught interpersonal skills and techniques. While a post-doctoral fellow in Psychological Services at U.C. San Diego, he developed and directed the stress and wellness clinic. He is currently an instructor for The College of Executive Coaching, where he co-teaches tele-classes. For over twenty years, Dr. Brusman has trained and coached hundred educational institutions.

Dr. David Peterson

David B. Peterson is Senior Vice President and global practice leader for coaching services at Personnel Decisions International. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota, specializing in industrial/organizational and counseling psychology, and his B.A. in linguistics and anthropology is from Bethel College in St. Paul, MN.  

An expert on coaching, executive development, and how organizations can create strategic advantage through learning and development, David has been quoted in Wall Street Journal, Fortune, Business Week, Sloan Management Review, Working Woman, Training, Human Resources Executive, HR Magazine, Washington Post, and USA Today. He is a frequent speaker at conferences on leadership development, coaching, organizational learning, and knowledge management. With his colleague Mary Dee Hicks, David has authored two best-selling books which provide practical advice to help people develop themselves and coach others:  Development FIRST: Strategies for Self-Development (1995) and Leader As Coach: Strategies for Coaching and Developing Others (1996).

Lewis Lubin, MA, MPEC

Lewis Lubin, MA, MPEC, is a certified executive coach, management consultant, entrepreneur, and author specializing in marketing and sales.  His experience includes over 20 years of organizational leadership as a marketing executive.  He has worked with leaders of organizations, management teams and senior sales executives.  Lewis has successfully led both internal and remote management teams.  A number of years ago Lewis launched a leader’s roundtable comprised of business owners and executives from the financial, travel, manufacturing, and non-profit sectors.  He remains actively involved in supporting the ongoing value of this service to the business community.  His recent e-book on Referral Networking provides tools for developing new business opportunities for new business owners and sales executives. 

 

Patricia Rachel Schwartz, MA, PCC 

Patricia Rachel Schwartz, MA, is an ICF Professional Certified Coach and trainer for executives in non-profit organizations, corporations, and small to medium sized businesses. Patricia specializes in Appreciative Inquiry and other strengths based coaching and team building approaches, and was trained by the founder of Appreciative Inquiry, David Cooperrider. Patricia holds a Masters degree in International Administration and Management. She is fluent in French and speaks Spanish. Clients include DreamWorks Animation, First Beverage Group, NMB Technologies, United Way, The FoodBank, Women's Economic Ventures, John Snow Inc., Pacific Capital Bancorps and the Girl Scouts. Patricia has also coached over 1,000 business owners in start up and business expansion.

Dr. Lynn K. Jones, ACPEC

Lynn K. Jones, MSW, DSW, is a certified executive coach and a certified social work manager.  She coaches, consults and trains nonprofit organizations, public sector organizations and private corporations.  Her clients have included diverse organizations such as Patagonia, Haas Automation and police departments.  Dr. Jones is a faculty member of Antioch and Capella universities.  Dr. Jones specializes in Appreciative Inquiry as a coaching and consulting approach and was trained by the founder of Appreciative Inquiry, David Cooperrider.  Lynn holds the Advanced Certified Personal and Executive Coach Credential.  Lynn completed a Masters in Social Work and a Doctorate in Social Welfare at the Yeshiva University of New York.

Dr. Jonathan Aronoff, ACPEC

Dr. Jonathan Aronoff is an Advanced Certified Personal and Executive Coach, a licensed psychologist, and originally a psychoanalyst by training. He obtained his M.S. in experimental psychology at Ohio University and his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Brigham Young University. He then completed his certification as a psychoanalyst at The Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. After 30 years of playing and coaching competitive soccer he discovered his own unique style of integrating his passion for athleticism and team into his psychotherapy and coaching practice. As a consultant to athletic teams, small businesses, couples and families and as co-instructor with Dr. Sandra Foster of the Positive Psychology telecourse for CEC, Dr. Aronoff views goal-setting, enhancing character strengths, peak performance and well-being through the lens of what it means to be part of a “Team”. The majority of his coaching practice focuses on young men who struggle with the transformation in to productive, successful leaders. He has referred to this population as “the Lost generation of Boys” and continues to find this part of his practice the most rewarding. Using his fundamental principals of self-discovery and accountability, he assists these young men to become confident and competent leaders, and has integrated those models and concepts into his executive and personal coaching.

              Dr. Darryl Cross, PCC   

Darryl Cross, Ph.D., PCC, received his Doctorate in Psychology from the University of Queensland.  He is an International Coach Federation credentialed coach and a registered psychologist.  Dr. Cross has conducted management consulting and coaching services for his clients since 1987 as well as teaching Leadership Dynamics in the MBA program at the University of South Australia.  His clients have included Medicare Australia, SAGE Automation, Catholic Education and SA Housing Trust.  

 

Rob Sproule, MA, MAPS, ACPEC

Rob Sproule, MA, MAPS, CPEC, has a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, is a registered psychologist, and is a Certified Personal and Executive Coach.  Rob has been consulting in Australia and Europe since 1985, and specializes in using executive coaching to increase organizational effectiveness, and enhance performance in small groups and teams.  His work includes clients from public and private sector firms, from small business to multi-nationals, as well as coaching and mentoring for the Melbourne Business School and Curtain University.

 Dani Wong

One of the bright, friendly, competent women who assists our students on the telephone and via email is our Program Coordinator, Dani Wong.  Dani completed her Bachelors Degree in Journalism at the California Polytechnic University.  She is happy to help you with all your questions.
