August 2, 2007   How to Use Assessments in Coaching    (In-Person Course)

One of the most powerful tools in the coach’s toolbox is the ability to use scientifically validated assessments to add value to the coaching process.  Sophisticated coaching often involves incorporating assessments to help individuals identify areas for potential growth and focus of the coaching relationship.  (Please note that some assessment publishers have educational requirements to purchase assessments such as a college level course related to psychological assessment, however that education is not required to take this course.)

A unique feature about the College of Executive Coaching is that we were the first coach training program to train coaches in how to use objective, scientifically based assessments in the coaching process.  In the States, most high level, executive coaches utilize assessments to bring special value to the coaching services that they are hired to perform.  In this way, managers and executives can receive objective feedback about strengths and areas to improve in, with regard to their management and leadership style.  This approach brings much depth to the coaching engagement and is a useful selling point that the coach can use when introducing coaching to prospective clients.

_____ August 1-3, 2007:  32-Hour Intensive Program.  $1,650 (US Dollars). Regular Tuition.

This Program is Full and Closed.  Please contact us about other programs.

Admission Requirements:  A Masters or Ph.D. degree or current enrollment in such a degree program is required to obtain the College of Executive Coaching's 72-Hour or 128-Hour Certification.  Clarification:  To receive a 72 or 128 hour certification from the College of Executive Coaching one must have a Masters or Ph.D. degree.  However, a person with a Bachelor's level degree could still attend our training in Israel, and would receive a certificate documenting 32 hours of Coach Specific training which they could ultimately use, if they want to, towards the International Coach Federation (ICF) credentialing process.

Additional Information Regarding Certification and Credentialing:

The College of Executive Coaching Program in Israel is 32 hours of coach-specific training.  If one wants to continue taking additional courses through the College of Executive Coaching one can take those courses via teleconference or on DVD.  (ICF allows up to 25 hour of coach specific training to be on DVD.)

The College of Executive Coaching offers two coaching certifications:

The 72-Hour Certified Professional Coach Certification (This surpasses the coach specific education requirements for the ICF's Associated Coach Credential, which requires 60 hours of coach specific training. ) Our 32-hour Israel Coach Training program therefore contains more than 50% of the coach-specific education required for the ICF ACC credential yet only requires three days of onsite training.

The 128-Hour Certified Personal and Executive Coach Certification (This surpasses the requirements of being a graduate of an ICF Accredited Program and meets the educational requirements for the ICF Professional Credentialed Coach.  The ICF requires 125 hours of coach specific training for the PCC credential.)  Most students first complete our 72-hour program, and then many choose to continue to complete additional courses until they reach 128 hours of coach specific training thereby enabling them to meet the educational requirements for the ICF PCC level credential.
