Healthcare leaders face a herculean challenge—continuous change, shrinking budgets and a stressful work environment. What will make you a peak performing leader? First, peak performing leaders need outstanding self-awareness and self-management. This specialized coach training program for physicians and health care leaders includes a thorough assessment and coaching process enabling participants to enhance their self-awareness—you will learn how others who know you well at work truly see you. You will gain a greater understanding of your unique strengths and the areas you need to fine tune to be a peak performer in the emerging chapter of your career. Second, you will engage in coaching to help create and follow through on concrete plans to more fully develop your unique leadership style, leveraging your strengths and polishing any rough edges.
Peak performing leaders also need exquisite self-care to prevent burnout, to be able to handle the ever growing demands of their roles, to have the resilience to handle stress, and still be a caring, effective and inspiring leader to others. Hence this program directly addresses seven research based areas of well-being: Physical well-being; career well-being; relationship/social well-being; financial well-being; emotional well-being; meaning/purpose well-being and community well-being. Specific coaching techniques will be practiced in this program to produce concrete improvements in your well-being and you will learn how to use these coaching techniques with others.
Being a peak performing health care leader involves excelling in unique competency areas. You will learn how to improve your own, and to assist others, fine tune stress-management skills, team-building and team-work skills, influence skills, interpersonal communication skills and overall emotional and social intelligence skills and behaviors.

Refunds: Up to three weeks before the first day of the program there is a $100 processing fee for change or refund requests. Please note that once you take an assessment the refund policy changes for this program. After you have taken an assessment, the refund policy is refunds are allowed up to twenty-one days before the start of a workshop, less a $200 fee. There are no refunds for whatever reason within three weeks of the start date of the workshop. Changes: If you need to change to a different workshop date than you were originally registered for, you are able to with the $100 administrative fee if two weeks advance notice is given. We apologize but there are no other changes for any reason within two weeks of the program start date. Unusual Circumstances: If a course must be cancelled due to a natural disaster, pandemic, crisis or instructor illness, the seminar will be rescheduled. If an individual is seriously ill and has a doctor's letter, please let us know so we can discuss the situation, and discuss alternative training options/dates.
