For In-Person Programs: Refunds: Up to three weeks before the first day of the program there is a $100 processing fee for change or refund requests. Please note that once you take an assessment the refund policy changes for this program. After you have taken an assessment, the refund policy is refunds are allowed up to twenty-one days before the start of a workshop, less a $200 fee.There are no refunds for whatever reason within three weeks of the start date of the workshop. Changes: If you need to change to a different workshop date than you were originally registered for, you are able to with the $100 administrative fee if two weeks advance notice is given. We apologize but there are no other changes for any reason within two weeks of the program start date. Unusual Circumstances: If a course location must be cancelled due to a natural disaster, pandemic, crisis or instructor illness, the seminar will be rescheduled. Specifically, in the event of a pandemic resulting in governments ordering no travel to the workshop location, that in-person program will be conducted on the same dates and times as planned, in our online virtual classroom. If an individual is seriously ill and has a doctor's letter, or has reason to believe they may have been exposed to coronavirus, please let us know so we can discuss the situation, and discuss alternative training options/dates. For one's own benefit, and the welfare of the other participants, if someone is ill and likely contagious, it is requested they not attend that particular training program location/date, and contact us so we can further discuss alternate training dates.
This program is approved by the International Coach Federation, the Center for Credentialing and Education, and the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC). The National Board for Health and Wellness Coaches (NBHWC) and the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) (the same agency that conducts the licensing exams for physicians) have launched a national certification for health and wellness coaches. This program also meets the educational credentialing requirements for the International Coach Federation Associate Certified Coach Approved Coach Specific Training Hours (ACSTH) Path and for the Board Certified Coach (BCC) Credential offered by the Center for Credentialing and Education.
Continuing Education: 60 CE Hours for the full program. This program is approved by the International Coach Federation, the Center for Credentialing and Education, and the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC). The International Consortium for Credentialing Health and Wellness Coaches and the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) (the same agency that conducts the licensing exams for physicians) have launched a national certification for health and wellness coaches. This program also meets the educational credentialing requirements for the International Coach Federation Associate Certified Coach Portfolio Path and for the Board Certified Coach Credential offered by the Center for Credentialing and Education.
Psychologists: CEC is approved by the American Psychological Association to offer continuing education for psychologists. CEC maintains responsibility for the program. The California MCEP accrediting agency accepts APA approved courses for California psychologists. MFTs and Social Worker Continuing Education: These courses meet the qualifications for continuing education credit for MFTs, Professional Counselors and LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (Provider # PCE1780), as well as many other states. CEC is a NASW Approved Provider of continuing education (Provider #886383501). (Provider #5969). Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #CEP 15517, for 60 contact hours.
